Event Description

The West Suburban Harriers Blue and Gold Cross Country Meet provides an affordable opportunity for young athletes to compete in a summer cross country meet on a fun and unique high school course.

Events Offered and Time Schedule

• 3:30 pm - Course setup

• 4:15 pm - 2nd Grade Boys and Girls - 1 Mile Race

• 4:30 pm - 3rd Grade Boys and Girls - 1 Mile Race

• 4:45 pm – 4th Grade Boys and Girls - 1 Mile Race

• 5:00 pm – Family Race - 1 Mile Race (Open to all Ages)

• 5:15 pm - 5th /6th Grade Girls - 2 Mile Race

• 5:40 pm - 5th /6th Grade Boys - 2 Mile Race

• 6:05 pm – 7th /8th /9th Grade Girls - 2 Mile Race

• 6:30 pm - 7th /8th /9th Grade Boys - 2 Mile Race

• 7:00 pm - Course tear down

Cost and Registration

Registration is available online via Athletic.net. The registration fee is $15 ($13 entry fee plus a $2 service fee from Athletic.net). Entry instructions are available here.

FREE registration for any athlete enrolled in a West Suburban Harrier summer running program. All Harriers and Junior Harriers will enroll through the Harrier club.

NO meet day registration.

All athletes will receive a bib number at check in. Please clearly display your bib on your race uniform as it will be used to identify you in the results.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the top five finishers in each race. For mixed gender races, awards will be given to the top five males and the top five females.

Timing

Palatine Pack Timing will provide Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) services for the entire meet. All results will be published via Athletic Live and posted to the athlete’s online profile on Athletic.net.

Workers

West Suburban Harriers coaches will serve as meet workers and course marshals.

Facilities

Portable toilets will be available onsite.
