Fox Valley TFCC Competition Club
The TFCC competition club offers track and field training and coaching for incoming 4th through incoming 12th graders and cross country training for incoming 5th-8th graders. The club focuses on teaching the fundamentals of training and competition. Registration will open on April 1, 2026.
Events Offered: Cross country (1.5-3 miles), Distance (800, 1600), Sprints (100, 200, 400), Hurdles, Relays, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus

Location: West Aurora High School track
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Dates/Times: June 8 - July 18, Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Age Groups: Our distance group is open to incoming 4th grade-incoming 8th graders. Our sprint/jumps and throws group is open to incoming 4th-12th graders.
Levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Experienced for middle school and high school athletes. All athletes will learn to train and compete regardless of prior training or skill.
Cost: $350 for new athletes, $300 for returning athletes. Please contact Carson Vittorio (Plainfield@thepacktfcc.com) for questions.
Benefits: Registration for this club includes a full schedule of summer meets in the suburbs. Registration will also include a team t-shirt, team racing jersey (for new athletes), Track & Field facility rentals, coaching, Liability insurance, and meet entry fees.
Plainfield Pitbulls Run CLub
Focused on endurance and sprint training for younger runners. Runners build endurance through runs, sprint skills, and fun through game play. Run Club develops age appropriate fundamentals for athletes ranging from Beginner to Intermediate age group runners.
Coaches: Shawn Edwards, Kendra Frigo, and student helpers
Location: Settlers Park (Wednesdays) and Commissioners Park (Fridays)
Days: Wednesday and Friday
Dates/Times: June 10 - July 29, Wednesdays & Fridays 8:00am - 9:30am
Age Groups: Any incoming 3rd to 5th graders that are interested

In partnership with Palatine Pack Timing, Plainfield Pack TFCC hosts a series of meets in the suburbs of Chicago. The competition season culminates with The Pack Championships. Our tentative schedule (with track rentals TBD):

Find Your Level
Beginner - Beginners have never tried cross country or track and field. They are often new to sports and looking to gain basic skills. Coaching focuses on relaxed introduction to many different track and field events or basic jogging and fitness.
Intermediate - Intermediates have some experience with training or competing either in cross country/track and field or other sports. They possess basic skills of the sport, but are looking to gain experience, ability, and fitness.
Experienced - Experienced participants have previous competition experience or training in specific event skills. They may possess elite goals in either cross country/track and field or be training for road racing from the 5K to the marathon.
