Frankfort pack run club
fall camp information | Registration
The Frankfort Pack Run Club offers youth running and cross country training for athletes in grades 2–8. The club focuses on teaching running fundamentals, building endurance and speed, developing confidence, and creating a positive youth running community. Runners of all abilities are welcome. No prior running or cross-country experience is necessary.
Training Focus: Running fundamentals, cross country, endurance, pacing, speed development, running form, drills, strides, race preparation, and intrasquad timed races.
Philosophy: Our philosophy emphasizes collaboration between elementary and middle school coaches, parents, athletes, and Pack TFCC clubs. Rather than focusing on high-pressure competition, extensive travel, or elite training, we provide accessible, community-based programming where kids can learn the fundamentals of cross country/track and field in a supportive local environment. All sessions occur outside of normal school seasons for middle and high school athletes. This club provides primary service to those in Frankfort, Mokena, New Lenox, and other nearby suburbs.

Meet the Coaches
Executive Director and Coach Ashley Revord has been involved in running from a young age, beginning as a youth runner and continuing into adulthood as a marathoner. For the past six years, she has coached and supported her own children in competitive running, helping guide their development from novice runners into accomplished athletes. Collectively, her children have earned seven AAU/USATF Junior Olympic All-American finishes.
As a coach with Frankfort Pack Run Club, Ashley’s goal is to create a positive environment where runners of all experience levels can develop their skills, build confidence, set goals, and discover a lasting love for running.
Lead Coach Jared Richardson is a former University of Illinois distance runner, experienced high school cross country and track coach, and lifelong runner. A graduate of Harlem High School in Machesney Park, Illinois, Jared was a three-time Illinois State medalist in the 800 meters before continuing his running career at the University of Illinois, where he competed for the Fighting Illini in the Big Ten Conference.
Jared later returned to Harlem High School as a cross country and track coach, spending four years helping develop young runners and contributing to the growth of the program. During his tenure, numerous athletes achieved top-10 performances in school history.
Jared remains an active runner and continues to compete in road races and endurance events, including the 2025 San Francisco Marathon. He is passionate about sharing his experience with young athletes and helping them build confidence, character, strong fundamentals, and a lifelong love of running.
