Join the fun as The North Shore Pack enters its second year with an outdoor track season. Within this co-ed club, you will meet friends from surrounding North Shore suburbs and enjoy the sports of track and field and cross country. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we are dedicated to the core principles of fun, fundamentals, and community. Our mission is to foster love of cross country and track and field in everyone from young athletes to adults.
We also believe in competition as a core principle. To that end, we will have the opportunity to compete in various meets around the suburbs.
Second session starts July 6 and runs for 3 weeks on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Coaches: We will have event specific coaches
Location: Deerfield High School
Days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
Dates/Times: 5:00 - 6:30
Levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Experienced for youth, middle school, and high school athletes. All athletes will learn to train and compete regardless of prior training or skill. Workouts will be tailored to an individual’s experience and ability - no prior experience required.
Age Groups: Our distance group is open to 4th grade - 12th graders.
Cost: $350 for all new athletes. The price for returning athletes is $300. If you can only do one session, the cost is $200. This cost covers all practices, team gear, the North Shore Pack uniform, and entry fees for meets. You will also have access to the coaches’ training plans. We do not prorate fees for missed days, but we will not turn people away if finances are an issue. If you can’t make every day, you can sign up for one session and spread your attendance throughout the summer. Please contact Jeff Beaumont to discuss discounted entry if needed.
Benefits: Registration for this club includes a full schedule of meets. Meet attendance is optional. In addition to receiving coaching and meet entry fees, registration includes a North Shore Pack t-shirt and the race jersey (same as last season).
