Focused on beginning fundamentals of track and field for kids aged 5-10 years old. Participants try the many different track and field events while learning basic skills of the sport. Events include sprints, hurdles, relays, long jump, shot put, and turbo javelin.
Coaches: Michelle Wicyk, Brenden Mariano, Kevin Rafferty, Alicia Rafferty, Miguel Gonzalez, and others
Location: West Aurora High School track
Days: Monday and Wednesday
Dates/Times: June 8 - July 15, 3:30 - 4:30 pm
Level: Beginner and Intermediate for grade school participants.
Cost: $125. No athletes will be turned away due to inability to pay. Please contact Brenden Mariano (foxvalley@thepacktfcc.com) to discuss discounted entry.
Benefits: Registration for this camp includes a competition jersey and full schedule of summer meets in the suburbs.
