McHenry pack Fall Cross country club
registration opens Sunday, august 30, 2026
McHenry Pack is pleased to offer our first post-season cross country experience for youth and middle school athletes. We invite all who participated on their school teams to join together for post-season training and racing. Our Fall session is open to any athletes that are currently in 5th-8th Grade.
We will race in the USATF qualifying series with hopes of competing at the USATF Nationals this December in Lafayette, Louisiana. Along the way, we have scheduled training, time trials, and races for athletes of all experience and ability levels.
Dates: October 26th-December 12th (No practice during the week of Thanksgiving)
Days of the Week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursdays
Location: McHenry High School - Upper Campus (South Entrance)
Time: 5:00 - 6:30 PM
Cost:
New Athletes: $250
Returning Athletes: $200
$30 USATF membership, must be purchased if athletes will be competing at ANY of the USATF races
Ask about financial assistance. We will not turn away any athlete due to financial reasons. Please email Dean Roehrborn at mchenry@thepacktfcc.com to discuss options. While athletes are allowed to miss practices, there are no reduced rates for athletes that miss part of the season. Financial assistance is reserved for families in financial hardship.

Saturday, December 12 - USATF Junior Nationals @ Moncus Park | Lafayette, Louisiana (National qualifiers Only)
